Rooted in our family values
Woodstock Trading Co., part of the Woodco Group, was founded by Ben Doouss, and the Doouss family is still at the core of the business, leading the Woodstock team to be driven by family values in everything that we do.
Ben Doouss
Founder and Chairman
Ben is the founder and Chairman of Woodco Group.
Born out of building furniture in his garden shed in 2002, Woodstock has grown steadily to where it is today. Ben has seen the interesting journey from inception to perfection, through the changing designs and finishes of fashions through the ensuing years. His family have been engaged in the business and have helped propel the business to its current leading position in the market today.
Ben now has 5 grandchildren and is enjoying this immensely whilst keeping a regular discipline of hikes and walks in the unspoilt countryside around Hereford.
Mark Doouss
Chief Executive Officer
Cut him anywhere and he bleeds Woodstock! Working through the company from the early 2000’s, Mark used any spare school holiday hour to start his working career in the family company. Holding the GM role for more than 10 years of experience through the company growth, he is now the CEO for Woodco Group.
Whatever life brings, Mark will always say that the only way is ‘onward and upward’. ‘As a family company, we will always stand by our values’. Mark always attributes the company and brand progress to the great team he is surrounded by.
As a father of two, Mark and his wife enjoy the ‘difference of every day’ in raising a family. Outside of work it’s all about making time for others.
Glenn Doouss
Director and Purchasing Coordinator
Glenn joined the family business in 2012 and combines his role as a director with his job working as part of our procurement team.  In this role he ensures the company maintains its industry leading stock availability, which in turn allows us to maintain our extraordinary service levels.
Since his inception, Glenn’s 10+ years of experience have been gained through multiple departments in the organization giving him a depth of product and supplier knowledge.
Outside of work, Glenn enjoys running and time with his family. When it’s gone quiet, he’s outside, peel in hand, spinning pizzas. 
Alex Seaborn
Managing Director
Qualifying in 2010, Alex is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has worked in a variety of senior Financial and Commercial roles over the past 20 years.
Bringing high energy, passion and commitment, Alex’s role as Managing Director is to lead Woodstock through its next stages of growth.
Being a father of 3, Alex and his wife spend their time outside of work ferrying children between dance, drama and football clubs. When Alex isn’t in the office or being a taxi, he enjoys nothing more than a countryside walk with his 2 labradors that end with a cold beer and a packet of crisps.
Stephen Robins
Sales Director
Steve has worked across multiple areas of business including Sales, Marketing & Operations in his previous role and joined Woodstock in 2021 as Sales Director.
Steve believes staying close to customers is key to understanding where we need to develop and improve and it’s what he loves doing. People mean everything to him – that’s customers, internal staff, and external service providers. We can’t do without people, and he is passionate about developing and strengthening his links to create a business that supports the bathroom industry and wider.
Outside of work, Steve has 2 young daughters who keep him busy and, when time permits, he enjoys cycling and mountain hikes.
Bethan Lewis
People and Culture Director
As our People and Culture Director, Bethan’s passion for developing people and harnessing talent ensures we have the right people working towards our shared goals.
With over 20 years experience as a people professional Bethan enjoys applying her ability to create and drive positive working environments and company culture to ensure Woodstock is a great place to work.
Bethan has recently moved out of London after 25 years and is enjoying all that the Cotswolds and Herefordshire has to offer.
Phil Haskew
Head of Logistics
Phil has held various senior roles within a logistics setting over the past 20 years. He enjoys the varied work, fast pace, unique challenges, and interesting people that logistics brings to work life.
He likes to make sure people are at the heart of our decision making, using their knowledge and experience to establish industry winning processes to support service to our customers.
Outside of work, Phil and his wife are kept busy by their 3 children. When he does happen to get a spare few hours his hobbies include rowing and canoeing along the River Wye, hill walking in the Brecon Beacons and socialising with friends and family.
Chris Billingham
Head of Product and Innovation
Chris has over 25 years experience creating market-leading products, from concept development, through implementation to post launch analysis.
He is passionate about delivering innovative products and experiences with features that truly delight the end user via teamwork, empathy and inspiration.​
Outside of work Chris can be found spending time with the family, renovating their home, walking their border terrier and on the rare occasion, attempting to play golf.

Outside of work, Phil and his wife are kept busy by their 3 children. When he does happen to get a spare few hours his hobbies include rowing and canoeing along the River Wye, hill walking in the Brecon Beacons and socialising with friends and family.

He is passionate about delivering innovative products and experiences with features that truly delight the end user via teamwork, empathy and inspiration.​
Outside of work Chris can be found spending time with the family, renovating their home, walking their border terrier and on the rare occasion, attempting to play golf.
